In the first part of the “LPG Information and Fire Extinguishing Training” held at İntergaz facilities, a theoretical presentation on fire and response methods was conducted, while in the second part, after a drill on fire response methods, participants were awarded their certificates. 

The opening speech of the training, organized with the participation of the İntergaz Ltd. team and fire consultant Resul Dilek from Turkey, was delivered by one of İntergaz's managers, Orhan Fişekçi. Following Fişekçi, who provided information about the activities İntergaz Ltd. has carried out from its establishment to the present day, İntergaz Facility Manager Salih Fazıl Yeltekin gave technical information about the characteristic properties of LPG.

In the first part of the LPG Information and Fire Extinguishing Training, fire consultant Resul Dilek from Turkey provided theoretical training on what to do in emergencies and how to implement emergency plans. Dilek explained the classification of fires and response methods, as well as which type of fire extinguisher should be used for which type of fire.  After the theoretical training, Dilek emphasized the importance of conducting drills, saying, "It is very important to conduct regular drills to be able to respond to a fire in emergencies. Other issues as important as knowing what to do during a fire are first aid response and building evacuation. From building evacuation to the use of fire extinguishing devices, training must be supported by regular drills."

Following the theoretical training, a fire extinguishing drill was conducted for the participants by the İntergaz Ltd. team. During the drill, participants individually extinguished burning cylinders and also received information and practiced how to respond to electrical cables and a burning fuel tank. The drill was completed with the extinguishing of a burning LPG tank.  After the training, participants gained experience through the drill and also learned what they should do in the event of a fire.

Trainings organized by İntergaz will continue

Fire consultant Dilek said, "These trainings organized by İntergaz Ltd. within the framework of its social responsibility projects fulfill a very important mission. Lack of awareness in emergencies causes loss of life. I recommend that every family have a fire extinguisher at home, and along with that, they must create an emergency plan and support this plan by conducting drills at regular intervals. Knowing what to do in case of a fire and emergencies is of vital importance." The 'LPG Information and Fire Extinguishing Training' concluded with the presentation of certificates to the participants of the training, which was organized as part of İntergaz Ltd.'s social responsibility projects.
