İntergaz Ltd. has added a new one to its trainings…
İntergaz Ltd. hosted personnel from the Turkish Cypriot Peace Force Command and the Security Forces Command for training and a drill. The program, which began with the reception of military personnel at the Chamber of Industry in the morning, concluded with the presentation of participation certificates at the Chamber of Industry after the hands-on training at the İntergaz Ltd. facility. "Theoretical information and training were provided." A theoretical presentation was given to the personnel of the Turkish Cypriot Peace Force Command and the Security Forces Command on the introduction to LPG, fire, and response methods. In the theoretical training, participants were given detailed theoretical information on the classification of LPG fires, response methods, how to intervene in different types of fires with the appropriate fire extinguishers, and what to do in the event of a fire. Following the LPG informational training, technical information and training on fire and LPG fire response were provided. "A firefighting drill was conducted." After the technical training held at the Chamber of Industry, the participants, along with instructors, conducted a drill on fire response at the Intergaz drill area. During the practical firefighting training sessions held at the Intergaz facilities, participants who had received theoretical knowledge on what to do during a fire reinforced their knowledge through the drill. In the drill, participants extinguished burning LPG cylinders one by one, learning step-by-step what to do in the event of a fire and the importance of remaining calm. Following the drill on extinguishing LPG cylinders, a drill was conducted on the procedures for responding to an LPG tank fire, as well as how to handle electrical and fuel fires. Participants who completed their theoretical and practical training were later given their certificates of participation at the Chamber of Industry. Kencer: "We are pleased." İntergaz Ltd.
